Laura is the practice manager of Northeast Surgical Specialists. She has been in the dental/medical field for 26 years and has been in the position with Northeast Surgical since its inception in 2003.

Laura is a respected leader to her staff, always supporting them and ensuring professionalism and patient care is always a top priority.

Laura is a dedicated, hardworking, and loyal employee to the practice. She administers all day-to-day operations, which includes overseeing the entire staff at Northeast Surgical Specialists. Since she has been employed with Northeast Surgical Specialists, she continually strives to have the most up-to-date training for herself and the staff to ensure the best possible care is administered to their patients. She consistently ensures that all employees are compliant with OSHA and Accreditation (AAAAFF) at both facilities. The accreditation and compliance with established protocols enables each employee to provide the best possible care to all patients.

Laura resides in Queensbury, NY, with her husband and their two wonderful children, 12 and 13. They enjoy hiking, running, and boating on Lake George.

Rachel has been a member of the Northeast Surgical Specialist front desk team since 2012. She has experience working in patient customer service and administration in both the medical and dental fields for over seven years. Rachel enjoys helping all patients in any way she can by answering questions they have and ensuring their visits are coordinated smoothly. Rachel is recently married to her husband, Kellen, and together they volunteer much of their time as Bible education teachers and enjoy being with family and friends. Rachel is a happy member of Northeast Surgical Specialists where a positive environment makes for an enjoyable place to work.

Sarah has been a member of the Northeast Surgical Specialists team since 2012. Sarah has completed a training program in dental assisting as well as training in office administration. She is a committed, multi-tasking individual who has a caring and professional approach to her job in front desk administration. Patients and coworkers alike can count on Sarah to have a personal interest in the job at hand. Sarah’s personal interests include planning her upcoming wedding to fiancé, Kenny, and working on making their recently purchased house a home! She has an avid interest in fitness and has competed in multiple local races. Sarah enjoys her close family time and loving her 70-pound dog that believes he’s a baby.

Karen grew up in a small town in upstate NY on the Canadian border. She graduated with an associate’s degree from North County Community College and began her work in the dental field. Karen worked in general dentistry for two years before she relocated to the area and joined the team at Northeast Surgical Specialists in February 2008. She is an OSHA officer and a certified dental anesthesia assistant. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and the company of her fiancé, Matt, and their cats and dogs.

Kathy is a surgical assistant and has her certification as a dental anesthesia assistant as well as (BLS) Basic Life Support. She has worked for Northeast Surgical Specialists since they opened in 2003, and has been in the oral surgery field for 14 years.

She worked in the dental field from 1989-1999 as a dental receptionist and general dental assistant, experienced in restorative and surgical dentistry. Kathy is our implant coordinator for the office as well as an OSHA officer and trains new surgical assistants.

Kathy has lived in upstate New York all her life. She has been married to her husband for 25 years and has two children: a son, 22, and a daughter, 18. During her time off, she enjoys exercising, doing yoga and zen, baking, walking her dogs, and taking care of her organic chickens.

Amy was born and raised in upstate New York. She has been married for 25 years and has a 20-year-old son and an 18-year-old daughter. She attended a dental assisting program in Utica, New York, in 1999. She worked in general dentistry until 2006 when she joined Northeast Surgical Specialists. Amy is an OSHA officer and a certified dental anesthesia assistant. One thing Amy especially likes about the oral surgery field is that it is more medically involved than general dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family (which is getting harder as the kids get older), listening to music, and reading.

Morgan is a dedicated surgical assistant who has been with Northeast Surgical for just a short time now and already adores her team members.

Morgan was previously trained as a dental assistant before she came into oral surgery. She always puts the patient first and makes sure they are happy and comfortable. Morgan stays busy at home with her young son. She loves the outdoors and going on family hikes with her two dogs.

Erin is a surgical assistant who has been in the dental field for 11 years. In 2003 she started her dental career at a pediatric dental office where she was employed for over seven years. In 2011 Erin joined the team at Northeast Surgical Specialists. Recently Erin obtained her certifications as an anesthesia assistant through the DAANCE program.

Erin was born and raised in upstate New York. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children who keep her happily busy with ballet, baseball, and soccer.
